Thin Leather Martingale Buckle Collar
A slim flat leather martingale collar with a traditional buckle fastening, handmade to measure in our Derbyshire workshop.
Designed for dogs that benefit from a narrower collar, this 12mm leather martingale combines limited tightening under lead tension with the convenience of a fully opening buckle. The adjustable fastening allows the fit to be fine-tuned without slipping the collar over your dog's head.

Sizing and Fit
Every Kegdog collar is individually made to your dog's measurements.
Use a flexible fabric measuring tape to measure around your dog's neck or head, following our measuring instructions before ordering. There is a guide photo showing how to do this for each collar design.
We ask for a photograph of your dog being measured so we can better understand their individual needs. This helps us take into account coat thickness, head shape, ears and other features that may affect how the collar fits, allowing us to make it as comfortable and well-fitting as possible.

Each collar is cut and finished by hand using traditional leatherworking techniques.
The narrow leather strap provides a slimmer alternative to our wider martingale collars, while the chain allows limited tightening when tension is applied to the lead.
Unlike a slip-on martingale, this design opens fully at the buckle and can be adjusted to refine the fit.
Important: A martingale collar should be correctly fitted so that the tightening action is limited. It should not be used as a tethering collar.

It's gorgeous! It's quite weighty so bare that in mind if you have a smaller dog they may not like wearing it for a longer period of time. But the quality is superb and it fits exactly right. The leather is very thick and all of the hardware seems sturdy. The colour of the leather is stunning too! Absolutely love it!
