Braided Leather Buckle Collar
A traditional braided leather buckle collar, handmade to measure in our Derbyshire workshop.
Crafted from a single continuous piece of full-grain leather using a traditional mystery braid, this collar combines decorative detail with greater flexibility than a flat leather collar.
Finished with a traditional buckle and a choice of saddle-stitched or riveted construction.

Sizing and Fit
Every Kegdog collar is individually made to your dog's measurements.
Use a flexible fabric measuring tape to measure around your dog's neck or head, following our measuring instructions before ordering. There is a guide photo showing how to do this for each collar design.
We ask for a photograph of your dog being measured so we can better understand their individual needs. This helps us take into account coat thickness, head shape, ears and other features that may affect how the collar fits, allowing us to make it as comfortable and well-fitting as possible.

Each collar begins as a single strip of leather, carefully cut and worked into a traditional mystery braid without separating it into individual strands.
The braided construction allows the leather to flex more readily than a comparable flat collar, creating a comfortable, distinctive design.

This is the only collar I've purchased that doesn't itch my dog. The only downside is that I have a whippet and with its short hair, the collar does does look kind of funky in that there are gaps between the collar and hair. I think it would be excellent for longer hair dogs.
