Wide Leather Martingale Buckle Collar
A wide flat leather martingale collar with a traditional buckle fastening, handmade to measure in our Derbyshire workshop.
Designed for dogs that suit a broader collar, this 32mm leather martingale combines limited tightening under lead tension with the convenience of a fully opening, adjustable buckle. A single D-ring and leather keeper help keep the hardware weight down.

Sizing and Fit
Every Kegdog collar is individually made to your dog's measurements.
Use a flexible fabric measuring tape to measure around your dog's neck or head, following our measuring instructions before ordering. There is a guide photo showing how to do this for each collar design.
We ask for a photograph of your dog being measured so we can better understand their individual needs. This helps us take into account coat thickness, head shape, ears and other features that may affect how the collar fits, allowing us to make it as comfortable and well-fitting as possible.

Each collar is cut and finished by hand using traditional leatherworking techniques.
The broad leather strap provides a wider contact area around the neck, while the martingale chain allows limited tightening when tension is applied to the lead.
Unlike a slip-on martingale, this design opens fully at the buckle and can be adjusted to refine the fit. The single D-ring and leather keeper provide a simpler hardware arrangement than our narrower designs.
Important: A martingale collar should be correctly fitted so that the tightening action is limited. It should not be used as a tethering collar.
