A thin, lightweight leather dog lead for everyday walks, handmade in our Derbyshire workshop.
Featuring a traditional trigger clip and a leather loop handle, this simple walking lead includes a loose O-ring captured within the handle. The ring can be used to clip the lead around your body when not in use, dropping naturally to the bottom of the handle during walks to keep it away from your grip.
Choose between a thin 12mm , and a standard strap with 20mm fittings. Both are available with riveted or hand saddle-stitched construction.

Length and Use
Our leather clip leads are designed for everyday walking, with a fixed length, single trigger clip and traditional loop handle.
The lead measures approximately 1m (3ft) plus the handle, offering a simple, practical design without the additional clips or adjustment points found on our training leads.
A loose O-ring is captured within the handle, allowing you to clip the lead around your body for convenient carrying when it is not attached to your dog. During walks, the ring drops to the bottom of the handle, keeping it away from your grip.
Choose between the slimmer 12mm version with lightweight fittings or the standard 20mm version for a broader, more substantial feel. Both widths are available directly from this listing.

Each lead is individually cut and finished by hand using traditional leatherworking techniques.
