A handmade leather figure-of-eight headcollar, individually fitted to your dog in our Derbyshire workshop.
Designed as a walking aid for dogs that pull on the lead, its smooth leather construction offers an alternative to rope or nylon headcollars. Choose left- or right-hand walking, with optional personalisation, a stopper and a matching lightweight lead.
More easily accepted by dogs compared to rope, nylon and chin attachment headcollars.

This headcollar is intended for supervised, on-lead walking only and should be removed when your dog is off lead.
Sizing and Fit
Every Kegdog figure-of-eight headcollar is individually made to your dog's measurements with adjustable room.
Please follow our neck measuring instructions carefully using a flexible fabric measuring tape.
We will contact you after ordering to request measurement photographs of your dog. Please check your emails and respond to our request so we can complete the fitting process.
These photographs help us assess your dog's muzzle, head shape, coat and other features that may affect the fit.
The headcollar can be made for walking your dog on either your left or right side. Please select your preferred walking side when ordering.

The figure-of-eight design provides an alternative way to manage dogs that pull on the lead. Its smooth leather surface may be preferable for dogs that dislike the texture of rope or nylon.
Introducing the headcollar
Some dogs need time to become comfortable with a headcollar around their muzzle. Introduce it gradually using positive reinforcement, allowing your dog to become familiar with the sensation before attempting a walk.
Begin with short, supervised sessions and increase the duration as your dog becomes comfortable. Never force the headcollar onto a reluctant dog.
Important: This is a management aid, not a substitute for loose-lead training. Avoid sudden jerks or sharp corrections, and never use the headcollar for tethering or leave it on an unattended dog. Remove it whenever your dog is off lead.
