A leather and chain clip lead suitable for large breeds of dog, handcrafted to order in Nottinghamshire, UK.
Your lead handle will be cut by hand from premier full grain Italian hides and can be stitched instead of riveted on request. The chain is made in England from solid cast brass.
The total length of this leash is 90cm. We also produce a shorter 65cm version of this chain lead.
**It is very important to us that we supply ethically sourced leather. For this reason we buy whole hides from a reputable dealer who can assure us of the origin of our leather. We currently only use full grain British and Italian leather in all our products.

Beautifully made and of course, I love supporting British businesses. I found the lead too short and not comfortable for holding the lead in my hand or going around my body - the width of the lead is too short and too thin for my Portuguese Water Dog. I wanted a sturdy, everyday leather lead that is much thicker (double leather or double stitched is probably what I was looking for) so my fault for not reading the way these are made. The brass fittings are beautiful but the ring on my lead is too large and the lead is just too short so not practical for everyday use.
Pretty to look at but unfortunately it's not very durable.
I was looking at this for so long and disappointed at how very delicate it is. Its rather a collar for show. Mia wore it to a doggy park where she played with other dogs and the outcome was it's all bitten into and chewed and this was only a hour play. I do understand its leather but at that price wish someone on the reviews would have said do not let other dogs near it as it will be badly damaged.

The only thing extra thing I would say is that I would not recommend these martingale collars on a small dog. The size of 1cm collar, the chain is quite heavy.
I have a large cockerpoo, and it's on the verge of being too heavy.
Collar is well made, but way overpriced for its size. Very stiff, but I expected that, but will soften with use. Size was perfect.
Took a long time, but did come from GB.
Stunning! Beautifully made and will last a long time. Love that it is already softening up in my hand. Customer service is exceptional. Don’t hesitate!
