Leather Show Slip Lead with Stopper
Our Flat Leather Show Slip Lead is a traditional all-in-one collar and lead, handmade from Italian full-grain leather in our Derbyshire workshop.
Made from strong, durable 10mm leather, this lead is well suited to both show training and handling in the ring. Its narrow profile keeps the lead discreet against your dog's coat, without sacrificing the strength and substance of traditional leather.
The leather runs through a metal ring to form the slip collar, allowing it to tighten and release with changes in tension.
Choose a free-running slip lead or add a leather stopper to limit how far the collar can tighten. Both options are available from this listing, regardless of the style shown in the main photograph.
Available with brass or silver-coloured fittings and a choice of riveted or hand saddle-stitched construction. Alternative lead and handle lengths can also be made on request.

Sizing and Use
This all-in-one show lead forms a slip collar when the leather passes through the metal ring.
Without a stopper, the collar runs freely, tightening under tension and loosening when the lead relaxes.
With a leather stopper, the amount the collar can tighten is limited by the stopper's position. The stopper should be adjusted appropriately for your dog before use.
The slim 10mm leather is designed for a discreet appearance in the show ring. The lead and handle lengths can be customised to suit your dog's size and your preferred handling position.
If you need a particularly fine lead for a smaller breed, or would like a different length or arrangement, please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Slip leads should be used under supervision and should not be left on an unattended dog.
