Rolled leather is a great option for any breed of long-haired dog as it reduces damage on the coat. Leather is smooth and doesn't grab the hair, the rolled surface prevents breakages from hair being trapped under the collar. It can also be a great choice to prevent collar marks in short coated dogs too.
House Collars
The rolled house collar is our most effective collar at reducing hair damage in your dog's fur. The inside is polished smooth and the only grab point for hair is the fixed O ring. This collar is custom made to your dog's head size to allow it to stay loose and light around your dog's neck. This collar can be adapted from 15cm to giant breed neck sizes.
2. Buckle Collars
Rolled options are available for all sizes of dog, small breed and puppy collars can be made down to 15cm. They are a practical and low-damage collar for long haired breeds.
We cater for medium to giant breed dogs with a larger buckle and wider collar. This is a popular choice for all coated dog breeds.
3. Slip Collars
If you are looking for a collar with cinch then the slip is the kindest to the coat out of the martingale and slip options. Like the house collar, this is due to the reduced hardware and full polished leather interior. Our small breed design is lightweight with smaller O rings and a narrower collar band.
The standard style has larger O rings allowing for bigger leash clips. It also has a wider rolled collar band with thicker, stronger leather.
4. Martingale Collars
The rolled martingale is the least fur-protective design in the rolled range, but less damaging to the coat than a flat martingale. If your dog is coated and you want to use a chain martingale style, this will give you the least hair breakage.
We have a small breed style with a light chain for small breeds. the collar band is light and thin for smaller neck sizes.
